What Our Clients are Saying

What Our Clients Are Saying

We did our research, we knew exactly what we wanted, then we contacted Doylestown Travel and in a matter of minutes we saved over $400 on our trip to Mexico. We stayed at Secrets Capri - thought we died and went to heaven! The discount was up-front -- no wait for a rebate check. ** Michael & Angela A. - Madison, WI
I've traveled numerous times with Doylestown Travel. We've been to Puerto Rico, Riveria Maya, Aruba, and Punta Cana to name a few. Every time, the trip was planned flawlessly. Our discount was taken immediately and made our vacations affordable. **

Our family of 5 went to Sunscape Grand in Punta Cana. We live near Detroit, MI and needed some place warm and sunny. We searched on-line and were confused. We called Dr. Pat and he pointed us immediately to what has become our favorite vacation. Our memories are priceless. The resort was everything and more than described. And we even saved some money. The kids say you guys rock.

  Patrick,

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!    A review we left on tripadvisor.com

My wife and I stayed at Secrets Capri from Nov12-19 for the 15th anniversary of our first date. We were originally scheduled at another resort and were fortunate to book into Secrets at the last minute. We couldn't recommend it more highly! The resort was still getting back to normal from Wilma but was beautiful and had all it's restaurants, bars etc running well..

The resort; Secrets Capri is smaller than where we booked originally and than many other similar resorts. This is
Capri's best asset. As it was only a week after flights resumed flying to Cancunpost Wilma, it was less than half full. We felt like we knew nearly all the other guests personally, if we chose to... Everything is together and convenient. We took long walks along the beach, but didn't have to go for a hike to have dinner. The service was fabulous at every turn. Eric, the general manager is wonderful. It's easy to tell that the staff follow his lead and make certain that everything is taken care of flawlessly.

The rooms; We had an ocean front suite. It gave us a great view and makes you feel like you're right on the beach. We left our patio door open at night and it was wonderful. I've read reviews of how other guests could hear each other. We didn't find this at all. We were worried that our music would disturb the neighbors but were told that they had heard nothing. The tubs are too small. I would say the rooms are good, but not great. The beds were nice and the maid service was super.

The pools/beach; We loved the pool! We didn't spend a lot of time on the beach, although it was great, because the pool was so much fun. The lounge chairs at the pool are great. They are wood and have comfortable padding. The poolside service was amazing. Francisco you are wonderful! Our glasses were never empty! We ate lunch at the pool most days and loved it. The "floaties" were great. They especially made great tables to hold drinks and play "rummikub" in the pool. (thanks Eric and Krista)

The food; Unbelievable!
Capri, the Itaian restaurant was fabulous. Gustavo could wait a 5 star restaurant anywhere! The portions are not huge, but we(the men) learned to order a pasta main course as well as another. Everything was amazing. We discoverd some new wines that we'll be picking up. My wife usually prefers Pinot Grigio, but that is not on the list of "all inclusive" wines. Ther are several Merlots and Cabernets as well as several Chardonnays. We never felt we had to go off the list. True wine lovers might. The seafood restaurant was superb, as was the Japanese. We didn't try the Mexican fare, being from Texas. I could go on all day. The food was excellent.

Activities/Entertainment; This is not a resort for the party crowd. It's a romance and relaxation resort. The events that were staged each evening were great, but were generally over by
11PM. During the day there are various classes such as tequila tasting (no joke, very informative) and water arobics. We preferred lounging, tanning and drinking. My wife is a workout nut and used the gym each day. It was surprisigly well equipped.

What to pack; We took an ENTIRE suitcase full of unused clothing home. We found that we used only the beachwear and the evening wear. We had too much in between. Casual elegance means a dress for the ladies(my bride took the opportunity to buy 7 new ones)and slacks and a nice shirt for the fellas most nights. There were a few more casual evenings. The rooms have a CD player and we were glad we brought some music. Bring some $1 for tipping. We went through about 20 per day and that felt about right. When you see how the staff pampers you, you'll want to reward them! If you have a cowboy hat, bring it. They're not only an international symbol of good will, but a real efficient sun protector. Bring sunscreen too!

The details; We booked through Apple Vacations and Doylestown travel. Both were super. We originally had booked a different resort and were cancelled. Patrick at Doylestown was a lifesaver.
