"What is Proof of Citizenship?"
Proof of citizenship is required for your vacation. It must be presented at the airport upon check-in for your flight. Acceptable proof of citizenship for U.S. citizens for passengers traveling abroad and returning on or after January 23, 2007 must be a valid U.S. passport.

DEPARTURE INSTRUCTIONS
"When should I be at the Airport?"
Please check in at the terminal indicated on your flight Itinerary two to three hours prior to departure time. This is to provide sufficient time to check in all passengers and their baggage, clear security and allow for any unexpected delays en route to the airport. Weather and traffic conditions can be unpredictable, so be sure to leave plenty of time to get to the airport.
Airlines will not board any passengers within 30 minutes of departure and there are no refunds for missed flights.

LUGGAGE
"How many bags should I take?"
ON MOST AIRLINES, EACH PERSON, EXCEPT INFANTS IS ALLOWED TWO BAGS AT 50LBS. EACH WITH SOME EXCEPTIONS. ALL PERSONS SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR AIRLINE FOR SPECIFICS. Carry-on baggage is limited to one bag per person. The dimensions of the carry-on cannot exceed 45" linear. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT EXCESS/OVERSIZED BAGGAGE MAY BE DENIED AT CHECK-IN. If accepted, there will be additional charges. Anyone attempting to check-in excess baggage should arrive at the ticket counter a minimum of 2 hours prior to departure (3 hours for Mexicana Airlines), or risk being denied boarding. Infants under age two do not receive a separate baggage allowance. Apple Vacations accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage, although maximum care will be taken to ensure safe handling. Regulations are subject to change, so please consult your travel agent for the most updated information.

PASSPORT
"Do I need a passport?"
All U.S. citizens traveling with GWV Vacations on or after December 24, 2006 must have a valid U.S. passport to re-enter the United States. Visit www.travel.state.gov for complete details. Foreign citizens must check with the appropriate consulate.
If you are returning from vacation destination before January 23, 2007, an original state issued birth certificate with a raised seal, accompanied by government-issued picture identification will be acceptable. Foreign citizens must check with the appropriate consulate.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU OBTAIN A PASSPORT
They re valid for (10) years and will eliminate all documentation issues.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN
"I am traveling with children, do I need any special papers to travel?"
If a child under the age of 18 years on the day of departure is traveling to any of GWV Vacations destinations with a parent whose last name differs from the last name of the child, proof of parentage is recommended.
PLEASE NOTE: It is strongly suggested that all children under 18 on the day of departure, traveling with an adult other than a parent, have a notarized letter from the non-accompanying parent(s) stating that they have given consent for the child to leave the country. Additional requirements apply when traveling to specific countries. See the travel information sheets enclosed with your documents for complete details.
We regret that we cannot accept unaccompanied minors under 18 on any of our vacation packages. Anyone traveling who has not reached 18 on their departure day will be denied boarding if not accompanied by an adult. See below for additional information on traveling to Europe, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Q: What are the requirements for minors traveling to Mexico?
A: Mexican law regarding minors traveling to Mexico has changed since the printing of our Travel Information. As of April 2005, Mexico no longer requires a notarized letter from the non-accompanying parent(s) for minors under 18. Anyone under 18 on the day of departure will be denied boarding on Apple's exclusive vacation (charter) flights if not accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

SEAT ASSIGNMENTS
"When are seats assigned?"
Seating assignments will be made by airline personnel at the airport upon check-in. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Since you are traveling on a special charter flight, no changes can be made to your flight schedules. The boarding pass given you at the airport is not transferable to any other individual or flight.

"What is a vacation package?"

When you book your vacation with us and we confirm it, a contract is made and each party has certain legal responsibilities. This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions under which GWV Vacations, an Apple Vacations Company, located at 300 First Avenue, Needham MA 02494, in return for payment of the total tour price, agrees to provide your vacation.
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY . Payment for a vacation shall constitute your acceptance and agreement to GWV Vacations' Terms and Conditions.
Reservation and Payment:
A deposit of $150 per passenger and a signed Tour Participant Agreement must be submitted within seven (7) days of booking date to secure reservations. Full payment is due sixty (60) days prior to departure. For vacation packages utilizing published airline tickets, a deposit of $125 per person PLUS full payment of the air portion of the package is required at the time of guarantee. Full payment is due sixty (60) days prior to departure. If you are booking less than sixty (60) days prior to departure, full payment is due immediately. All payments for holiday departures (December 24 - 26, 2004, February 18 - 20, 2005 and April 15- 17, 2005) are non-refundable. GWV may designate additional special departures which may require non-refundable payment due in full at time of booking. GWV reserves the right to require overnight delivery, certified check and/or credit card guarantees under certain circumstances. You are responsible for any overnight delivery or check certification charges associated with your reservation. All checks and money orders must be made payable to " Susquehanna Patriot Bank Apple Vacations Escrow ", or to your Travel Agent, who in turn must make his check payable to the depository account at the bank. Your booking is subject to cancellation if your payments are not received on time. Credit card sales are not confirmed until your Tour Participant Agreement is received by GWV and may be cancelled and fully refunded until such time. Late bookings often require us to incur additional costs for faxing, updating and confirming your reservation. Therefore, we will charge a Late Booking Fee of $10 per person in addition to the normal price on all vacations booked 14 days or less prior to departure.Apple Vacations reserves the right to issue scheduled airline tickets once the booking is under applicable deposit.
PRICE:
Prices quoted include basic features as presented in our brochure or other promotional material. Please note that your vacation days include travel time in both directions and that package prices are based on the number of nights of hotel occupancy. Certain programs do not include local government tax, service charges, gratuities and energy surcharges, which, when applicable, are payable by you directly to the hotel. Our vacation prices are based on European Plan rates (no meals/drinks) unless otherwise stated. All prices are based on rates as of July 6, 2004. All prices are subject to change without notice. In the event of certain increases (e.g., increased fuel costs), the vacation price may be increased up to 10%. If the price is increased by more than 10% you will have a right to cancel and receive a full refund. You will also be notified of any increase in the current level of taxes and fees (e.g., airport passenger facility charge, security fees). Such increases are due prior to your departure even if full payment has already been made.
CUSTOMER REQUESTED CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to change any details of your reservation (such as destination, dates of travel or hotel accommodations) we will do our best to assist you. If the change is made to a charter package, a Change Fee of $50 per person per change will be assessed. For both Land Only and Scheduled Air Packages the cancel and booking change fees are $45 plus applicable hotel and airline penalties. Booking changes are changes to the departure day, the duration or the class of service. If you cancel and a substitute traveler is provided, then you will be assessed a $25 Administrative Fee plus any difference in the resale price of the package and any applicable hotel penalties. Airlines and hotels do not always permit changes such as substitution of passengers or guests. If you provide a substitute participant on a vacation, cancellation charges will be waived, but change fees apply. Scheduled air change fees may be up to 100% of the fare. If, for any reason, we are unable to make a requested change, and you decide to cancel your reservation, you will be subject to the Cancellation Fees shown below.
Your right to receive a refund is limited if you cancel your reservation at any time or change your reservation within sixty (60) days prior to departure, as set forth in the following schedule:

REFUNDS:
If for any reason you should lose your scheduled airline ticket, you will have to purchase a new ticket at your own expense , and upon your return home you must contact your travel agent to begin refund procedures by completing a "Lost Ticket Application" (fees may apply). Any refunds made by the airline will be based on the value of the original ticket issued less any applicable airline processing fees.All requests for refunds must be sent to GWV in writing by certified mail and received by GWV prior to your scheduled departure date. Any refunds due you, less the applicable Cancellation Fee and any Administrative Fees, will be made as soon as possible and no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of your written notice of cancellation or substitution of another traveler. GWV certifies that an appropriate refund will be made based upon our cost of any "included feature" that is not provided as described in our brochure or other promotional material, subject to two conditions: (1) failure to provide the feature must be the result of causes within the reasonable control of GWV and (2) within sixty (60) days of your return from your vacation you have presented a written claim, including supporting details, to GWV. Please note that no refunds will be made for any accommodations and services included in the vacation package which you voluntarily choose not to use. Certain supplementary or "bonus" features of the package (e.g., cocktail parties, free sports, etc.) are based on hotel policy and may be changed, added or deleted after the printing of promotional material. GWV is not responsible for such changes and no refund or adjustment will be made. The rights and remedies made available under this contract are in addition to any other rights or remedies available under applicable law. However, acceptance of a refund offered to you under this contract shall constitute a waiver of any and all other rights or remedies you may have.
MAJOR CHANGES" AND CANCELLATIONS:
Changes to your vacation by GWV are unlikely, but we do plan these arrangements many months in advance and sometimes may need to make changes. In certain instances we may be required to use substitute hotels. In such a case the substitute hotel will be of similar or superior quality to the original hotel chosen. A change which involves the substitution of a hotel not listed in this brochure, or a change in your departure or return date (except for flight delays of less than 48 hours), departure city or destination, or a price increase which is more than 10% of the total price the passenger is paying for the trip, is considered a "Major Change". If a Major Change becomes necessary, we will notify you within seven (7) days of making the change and at least ten (10) days before your scheduled departure. If a Major Change is first known within ten (10) days of departure, we will notify you as soon as possible. If you find the revised arrangements we offer unacceptable, you will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund provided that you notify us within seven (7) days of your receipt of our notice of the change, but no later than the time set for your departure. If a Major Change occurs after the departure of your flight which you do not accept, you will receive a partial refund (based on GWV's cost of the vacation package elements not utilized) within fourteen (14) days after your scheduled return date. In certain instances we may have to cancel your vacation. We guarantee, however, that we will not cancel your vacation less than ten (10) days prior to departure except for circumstances which make it physically impossible to provide your vacation, in which case you will be notified as soon as possible. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to: war; rebellion; Acts of God; strikes, lockouts or other labor problems; acts of terrorism; loss, destruction or unavailability of aircraft; embargoes or other government directives; and adverse weather conditions. In these cases you will receive a full refund.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU:
GWV, as principal, is responsible for making all arrangements with airlines, hotels and other independent suppliers to provide you with all services and accommodations offered in connection with your vacation. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for your vacation, but GWV will not be liable for the actions or omissions of these independent suppliers, over whom we have no direct control. If you have any dispute with such persons, however, we will give you such reasonable help as we can in resolving the situation. Please understand that we cannot control such factors as weather, government actions, mechanical breakdowns, flight delays which result in shortened vacation time, inconvenience or hardship, additional expenses or any consequential injury or damage, delays or inconvenience from refueling stops and/or flight diversions, your medical or mental problems, your physical disabilities, your failure to obtain proper travel documents or your failure to follow travel instructions. We are not responsible for losses or damages arising from physical or emotional injury, damages to property or other economic loss caused by such factors beyond our control. As explained above, in the event of a change, we will try to substitute comparable services, but in the event of complete cancellation by us our only liability will be to refund all monies paid. Flight schedules, departure times, itineraries and aircraft routings are tentative at time of booking; they are not guaranteed and are subject to change.
SECURITY:
Apple Vacations has surety trust agreements with Susquehanna Patriot Bank, 101 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 for payment of any charter air package refunds as defined by the agreements.
Under these agreements, unless you file a claim with Apple Vacations (or with the bank) within 60 days after termination of your vacation,both parties shall be deemed released from all liability to you.

MINORS:
GWV does not accept reservations for unaccompanied minors under 18 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by at least one person age 18 years or older and, if not accompanied by both parents, must have written, notarized permission from both parents or legal guardian to travel.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
For bookings paid in full, providing we have received all required security information, your travel documents will be sent approximately two weeks prior to your trip's departure.
CHECK-IN:
It is very important that you allow plenty of time to reach the airport and check-in. Airlines can and will deny boarding to any client who fails to check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure and no refunds will be issued for missed flights. Check-in generally begins three hours prior to departure (please consult your itinerary for details).

TICKET CONDITIONS/BAGGAGE:
GWV has made arrangements for its flights relating to its vacation packages to be operated (pending all necessary government approvals) by North American Airlines (278-seat B767s & 214-seat B757s), Icelandair (206-seat B757s) or similar air carriers. Cozumel flights are via Cancun with ferry service to Cozumel. Anguilla and St. Barth's flights are via St. Maarten with connecting service to St. Barth's and ferry service to Anguilla. Nevis flights are via St. Kitts with ferry service to Nevis. Bonaire flights are either direct or via Aruba or Curacao with scheduled connecting service to Bonaire. GWV and the airlines reserve the right to substitute alternative aircraft and modify routings. Non-stop or direct service is not guaranteed. The air carriers are not responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their plane or conveyance. When you fly to and from your destination, the Conditions of Carriage (available through your Travel Agent) apply, some of which limit or exclude liability.
The air carrier's liability for loss, damage or delay to baggage on international flights is limited to the actual value of the baggage up to a maximum of $9.07 per pound with a total limit of $400 per passenger for checked baggage and $400 per passenger for unchecked baggage.
GWV is not responsible for any delay, loss or damage to baggage or its contents. Air carriers are not responsible for soft-sided luggage, or for perishable or breakable items. Money, negotiable instruments, securities, vital medicines, jewelry, silverware, precious metals, sporting equipment, cameras, lenses, radios, computers, camcorders, electronic equipment or other similar items should not be placed in checked baggage. Neither GWV nor the air carrier will accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from theft, loss or damage to such items. Carry-on baggage must be able to fit under the seat. The overall dimensions (length + width + height) may not exceed 45 inches. Total weight of all baggage is limited to 44 pounds per passenger including a maximum of two (2) checked bags, a flight bag, and a small carry-on item. The air carrier's acceptance of excess baggage or sporting equipment (including golf bags) is subject to space availability and is not guaranteed. Additional charges may be assessed for any excess or oversized baggage or sporting equipment carried. Carrier will not accept any liability for loss or damage to any carry-on bag. Additional insurance coverage above the carriers' baggage liability may be obtained from a private insurance carrier and is included in the Vacation Travel Protection Plans offered by GWV through your travel agent. All incidents of missing or damaged baggage must be reported to the carrier's airport representative at the destination airport by the passenger, in person and before leaving the airport terminal. Checked baggage taken from the terminal building at the destination airport will be considered to have been received in good condition and no claim for loss or damage will be accepted after baggage has been removed from the terminal building at the destination airport. On international flights, additional restrictions may be imposed on the flight by foreign governments involved. If landing rights or other government approvals are not obtained for programs offered, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to GWV.
DOCUMENTATION:
Passengers are responsible for obtaining and having with them valid passports and/or any other required documentation. Currently, U.S. citizens must carry either a valid passport or original city- or town-issued birth certificate with appropriate raised seal and a current government-issued photo I.D. for all foreign destinations. Non-U.S. citizens must check with the Consulate for the destination country(ies) for required documentation. Children traveling without both parents must have a notarized letter of consent from any parent not traveling or a death certificate. Failure to carry proper documentation may lead to denial of boarding of aircraft or entry to foreign country. No refunds will be made if improper documentation results in denied boarding or entry. GWV strongly recommends a valid passport as documentation.
PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES:
GWV cannot guarantee the availability of wheelchairs at any airport. GWV will process requests for wheelchair-accessible rooms and other special needs but we cannot guarantee these requests will be honored. Standards and/or availability of special needs facilities may vary from property to property and country to country, and are not within the control of GWV.
CUSTOMER SERVICE INQUIRIES:
Should you have a problem or complaint, you must provide GWV with a reasonable opportunity to rectify the issue during your vacation by promptly contacting your GWV destination representative. GWV Representatives can be reached at the telephone number(s) shown in your GWV Destination Booklet that is provided with your travel documents. If the matter cannot be remedied on location, you must write to our Customer Service Department within thirty (30) days of the completion of your vacation. The few complaints we receive are normally resolved quickly and amicably. However, please understand that we cannot consider post-vacation submissions if you did not provide GWV with a reasonable opportunity to assist you during your trip.
FORUM FOR DISPUTES:
We each agree that any controversy, claim or dispute arising out of or relating in any way to the Terms and Conditions, the GWV brochure, or any other matter in connection with your trip, will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in its courts.
TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS:
GWV Vacations makes every effort to ensure that the information, products and prices listed are accurate and complete. However, in the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical error or information received from our suppliers, GWV Vacations shall have the right to refuse or cancel within 48 hours any reservation based upon such typographical error or erroneous information, without regard to whether the reservation has been confirmed and your payment received by GWV. GWV's only obligation will be to immediately issue a refund for the amount of the charge.

We will use our reasonable commercial efforts to keep our site available on a 24-hour/7-day-a- week basis, subject to necessary scheduled downtime for maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and system outages. Your access to our site may not be uninterrupted or available at all times. We cannot promise that our site will be error-free, that defects or errors will be corrected or that our site or the servers that make it available are free from viruses or other harmful components. You will not use any device, software or routine that interferes or attempts to interfere with the normal operation of our site or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our computer equipment.
