with hammock, double Jacuzzi, in room safe, inidividually
controlled a/c, ceiling fans, satellite TV, ceiling fans,

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR WEDDING CEREMONIES
-Home address and occupations (bride and groom)
-Birth certificates (original or certified copy of each
one)
-Valid Passports. Although Passports are not required for
US citizens for entry into Mexico, they are mandatory for
weddings.
-Original blood test to determine blood type, HIV and STD.
Tests must be taken at the resort and results are ready
within 24 hours. Fee of approximately $50 per person
applies
-Original or certified copy of former spouses death
certificate if applicable
-Original divorce decree if applicable
-Legal documentation of adoption or name change if
applicable
-Tourist Id provided by customs upon arrival at Cancun
International Airport
-Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, driver's
license or passport and tourist ID of 4 witnesses.
Witnesses must arrive 2 days prior to ceremony. If
witnesses are not available, Palace Resorts will provide
them.
-Bride and Groom must arrive in Cancun at least 3 working
days prior to the wedding ceremony to meet with the
wedding coordinator and submit all documents. Ceremony
will not be performed unless all documents are in
order. No exceptions.
-Do not send documents by mail.


PLAYACAR SPA & GOLF CLUB
Playacar Spa & Golf Club is open 365 days a year from
6:30am until dark. Tee time reservations may be made up
to 30 days in advance.

RESERVATIONS INFORMATION
Tee times may be reserved up to 30 days in advance at the
Playacar Spa & Golf Club by either fax or e-mail. Please send

Guests will be required to arrange round trip
transportation to the golf course and pick up their
Golf vouchers at least 1 day prior to their tee-time
reservation at the Chaza Travel hospitality desk,
located in the lobby. Guests will not be allowed to
play without a Golf Voucher.

Tee-times must be cancelled at least 48 hours in
advance to avoid a $20.00 USD no-show fee. Fee will
be charged as an incidental charge to the guest's
hotel bill.


SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
ECOLOGICAL TOURS
Led by an Ecologist guide, 2 different types of ecological
tours are offered: a daytime tour; made up of a 45 minute walk
through the serpentarium, aviary, turtle and crocodile areas
and deer preserve; an evening tour consisting of nature
walks through the mangroves, astronomy workshops with use of
telescopoes which locate and describe constellations, their
names and their Mayan origins and mythology.

BOTANICAL WORKSHOPS
Featuring growth adn cultivation of plants and herbs,
identification of local endangered plant life, along with
lessons in planting techniques and horticulture.

Also available, lessons in Mayan Medicine with demonstrations
of how local plant life is used in preparation of Mayan
remedies and their uses for treatment of common illnesses.

THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS WILL BE LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF 10
GUESTS PER HOUR.

JUNGLE TOUR,
This will be a walking tour of the botanical gardens,
natrue trails and will end with a short snorkel tour in
the Estuary.

MANGROVE TOUR
This is an aquatic tour to be guided in kayaks through the
Estuary where guests can appreciate 3 different types of
mangrove species and various species of aquatic birds
native to the area.

ANIMAL RESCUE AND TREATMENT PROGRAM
This activity will be led by a trained ecologist within
the bio-technical and clinical facilities where guests
can observe the treatment of local fauna native to the
Xpu-ha property along with other rescued and adopted
animals from the Quintana Roo area, which include Sea
Turtles, crocodiles, native birds and many other types
of animals. There will also be workshops available where
guests can interact directly with some of the animals.
